Bogotá Goes to the Theatre!

An actress on stage in Teatro Corporacion La Candelaria.
For the next several weeks, Bogotá will be on stage, with the Ibero-American Theatre Festival and the Alternative Theatre Festival, the second one centered in La Candelaria.

A downtown bakery gets into the
act with a leprechaun in its doorway.
They'll draw theatre troupes from all over the world, and feature plays in traditional theatres as well as in parks, plazas and even the Bullfighting Stadium.

The Iber-American Festival runs from March 23 to April 8. Find its schedule here.

The Alternative Festival runs from March 23 to April 12. Its schedule can be downloaded here.

This theatre gave free admission to anybody who arrived on a bicycle.
